ECLARO is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to join a team supporting America's largest state power organization. This client is a national leader in energy efficiency and clean energy technology. The role offers a chance to contribute to critical initiatives within the energy industry, working on multiple ABAP and BW projects that drive compliance, reporting, and operational excellence.
The Role
In this position, you will serve as a bridge between technical execution and business needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders to exchange status updates, define priorities, and maintain request trackers. A key part of your day involves collaborating with the SAP Portfolio Manager to ensure all development adheres to strict SAP standards. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of development activities, from building prototypes and effort estimation to technical design, development, testing, and production support. Your work will directly impact the organization's ability to meet complex compliance requirements and troubleshoot configuration issues.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and develop SAP ABAP and BW objects to meet RICEFW requirements
- check_circleConduct ABAP debugging and analyze existing processes to provide innovative solutions
- check_circleConfigure HR module according to business requirements
- check_circlePrepare technical specifications, unit test plans, implementation plans, and user training materials
- check_circleFollow object-oriented programming practices and CTS processes
- check_circleMaintain request trackers and hold periodic meetings with business stakeholders
- check_circleCollaborate with SAP Portfolio Manager to ensure adherence to development standards
- check_circlePerform end-to-end development activities including prototyping, coding, and deployment
Requirements
- verifiedAt least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP
- verifiedProficiency in HR ABAP Programming
