About the Role
As a Sanitation Technician on our 3rd Shift (9:45 pm - 6:15 am), you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our entire production facility. This position is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to perform manual tasks with physical endurance. You will work with a variety of equipment, including ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts, to ensure all production areas, from mixing rooms to packaging lines, are sanitized according to strict procedures.
Your day will involve disassembling and reassembling critical equipment, performing wet washes, and conducting essential food safety and quality testing such as titration levels, APC swabs, and allergen testing. You will also operate specialized machinery like floor scrubbers and pallet jacks after training. While the role requires flexibility, including mandatory overtime as needed, we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. You will work closely with the Sanitation Group Lead and Supervisor, communicating progress and non-routine issues to keep our operations running smoothly.
Work Environment
This role is performed primarily in a production environment. You should be prepared for frequent exposure to noise, dust, dampness, moving machinery, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The physical nature of the job requires the ability to stand and walk up to 90% of the time, climb stairs, crawl, work on knees, and operate at heights without disorientation.
