About the Role

As a Critical Care Float Pool nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care across multiple critical care units, adapting quickly to diverse clinical settings and patient needs. This role exists to ensure continuity of care in dynamic environments, allowing you to leverage your clinical expertise while experiencing varied hospital workflows.

You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, responding to rapid changes in patient status and utilizing evidence-based practice to guide care. Your day will involve floating between ICU, step-down, telemetry, and other acute units based on organizational needs and your clinical competency. You will be an integral part of the care team, managing complex hemodynamic parameters, ventilators, and invasive lines while participating in codes and rapid response events.
