About the Role

This position is essential to supporting America’s food distribution system. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various environments, including production areas, warehouses, and offices. Your work ensures a safe and sanitary environment for food processing, adhering to strict company and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will perform cleaning and sanitation of food processing rooms using specialized equipment in a thorough and safe manner. Daily duties include sanitizing surfaces and processing equipment such as machinery, tables, sheet pans, racks, and scoops. You will also handle sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, and managing waste areas. The role requires operating industrial cleaning systems and chemicals as trained, while maintaining facility grounds and dumpster areas.

You will work in a mostly refrigerated environment, with the ability to adapt to varying temperatures ranging from -10°F to 80°F depending on the department. Success in this role requires a professional, positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions clearly. You will communicate with the Quality Control Supervisor regarding any sanitation conditions that do not meet compliance standards.
