The Same Day Surgery Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as a vital clinical resource and mentor within our fast-paced perioperative setting. This role exists to lead and deliver high-quality care that optimizes patient outcomes and ensures efficient operational flow. You will be the anchor for patient journeys across pre-operative and post-operative phases, coordinating complex patient flows to support on-time starts and safe discharges.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to refine care plans and champion safety and infection control. Beyond direct patient care, you will drive quality improvement initiatives and support the professional development of nursing staff and technicians, ensuring the entire team adheres to the highest clinical best practices.
