About the Role

This entry-level Salesperson position is designed to support our DIY business and achieve key sales and service objectives. You will serve as a vital link between our customers and our inventory, leveraging knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and maintenance processes. Whether sourcing from stores, hubs, or external suppliers, your goal is to deliver an excellent selling experience for both in-store and phone inquiries.

The role is flexible, available as either part-time or full-time, and offers a dynamic day-to-day environment. You will balance customer-facing sales duties with essential operational tasks, including battery installations, wiper blade replacements, and inventory management. Success in this position requires a blend of retail sales acumen, technical aptitude for automotive parts, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and safety.

Hiring Process

Candidates with 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment are encouraged to apply. We look for individuals who can communicate effectively in English (Spanish is a plus) and possess the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment & Safety

This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work. While primarily working inside, you will occasionally be exposed to weather conditions while performing tasks like installing batteries and wiper blades. The environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The position requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally, as well as the physical stamina to walk, stand, and handle various tools and equipment.
