This newly created Sales Manager position offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the sales function from the ground up. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will drive revenue growth by developing diverse membership and sales channels. The role is designed for a results-oriented professional who thrives in both inside and outside sales environments, capable of translating the Aquarium's mission into compelling value propositions while cultivating community relationships that generate sustainable growth.
You will serve as an active ambassador for the Aquarium within the regional business and tourism community. Your day-to-day involves balancing immediate membership sales targets with the strategic work of establishing scalable systems, launching new revenue streams, and expanding partnerships with corporate entities, visitor bureaus, and local attractions. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on sales execution, and the ability to collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align campaigns with revenue goals.
