About the Role
The Sales Lead supports Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This role is designed to drive results while building high-performing teams and delivering the "Most Amazing Personal Service" (MAPS) standards.
In this position, you will model sales expectations by utilizing various techniques to communicate product knowledge to customers, recommending merchandise selections, and helping to locate or obtain items based on individual needs. You will build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing, ensuring prompt resolution of concerns and a fast, efficient register experience.
Beyond customer interactions, you will supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, and cash reconciling. You will utilize weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage, maintain standards in merchandise handling and loss prevention, and train the team on product knowledge and selling techniques. You will also support talent development by interpreting performance reports, delivering coaching, and recognizing employees for outstanding performance.
