Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to bridge the gap between young adults and professional careers. Our mission is to provide participants with in-classroom skill development, access to high-quality internships, and personalized coaching and mentorship. By combining technical and professional training with direct access to our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement, we empower individuals to launch successful careers in the Greater Boston area.
Participants engage in a rigorous curriculum covering essential fields such as Banking, Business Operations, IT Support, Investment Operations, Project Management, and Network Security & Support. Beyond the classroom, the program offers a unique opportunity to intern at leading organizations including Harvard University, Wayfair, Salesforce, and Wellington Management.
During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week while gaining hands-on experience. The program focuses on developing professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking strategies, and resume building. Graduates receive ongoing support and guidance to help them launch their careers.
Year Up United is committed to tangible outcomes. 72% of our graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Those who are employed earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program.
