About the Role

As a Salesperson at our North Charleston location, you will be the face of our dealership, guiding customers through their vehicle purchase journey. This role exists to bridge the gap between customer needs and our inventory, ensuring every interaction is professional, informative, and enjoyable. You will greet customers, determine their specific vehicle preferences, and demonstrate features both in the showroom and on the road. Your day involves researching model availability, quoting sales prices including taxes and trade-ins, and managing the paperwork required to finalize the sale. Beyond the transaction, you will engage in business development, address customer concerns, and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration. Success in this role requires a blend of analytical research, problem-solving, and the ability to navigate standardized sales situations with common sense and integrity.

Hiring Process

Candidates with prior sales experience are preferred. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who possess strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings, and a solid foundation in math and reasoning. We look for candidates who demonstrate key competencies in customer service, interpersonal conflict resolution, and professional ethics. Those selected will be expected to follow all Safeguards rules and regulations and maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
