About the Role
The Sales Associate position serves as an introductory entry point into the sales organization, designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on training. You will partner closely with an experienced Sales Professional who will guide your development. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn the intricacies of the construction industry while prospecting new accounts and managing existing customer relationships within the Central Pennsylvania territory.
The position requires a dynamic day-to-day rhythm that blends field work with strategic planning. You will travel throughout your assigned territory to visit job sites, support installations, and build practical knowledge of product applications. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to demonstrating products to prospective users, holding distributor events, and managing dealer and end-user relationships. Success in this role requires a blend of technical curiosity and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
The Associate Program
This opportunity is part of the 3rd Annual Associate Program, where Sales Associates and Field Technical Associates learn, train, and grow alongside cohorts from current and previous years. Starting between June 1st and August 1st, you will be assigned a dedicated mentor and have multiple opportunities to shadow experienced sales and field representatives. The program is structured as a two-year journey; upon graduation, associates are promoted and assigned their own territory, responsibilities, sales targets, and bonus opportunities.
Hiring Process
Candidates must reside in and be available to travel within the Central Pennsylvania territory. The selection process focuses on identifying self-motivated, goal-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to progress in a full-time technical sales role. Applicants should possess a valid driver's license and practical computer literacy.
