This position serves as a vital bridge between customers and financial services within a high-traffic retail environment. You will manage cash transactions, provide expert advice on money exchange rates and loan products, and actively build rapport to encourage the use of Barri products and loan services. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of navigating a fast-paced setting, whether on an open sales floor or within a supermarket customer service booth.
Your day will involve a mix of direct customer interaction and administrative support. You will analyze customer needs to recommend appropriate loan products, solicit new business through inbound and outbound calls, and assist in prospecting activities. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive customer financial records and performing collection activities as needed. The role demands fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base via in-person approaches or telephone.
Due to the fiduciary accountabilities inherent in this position, the selection process includes a valid credit check, social security verification, and a criminal background check prior to employment.
This role operates within a non-standard work schedule to support retail sales and service hours of operation. Shifts rotate between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. The position is eligible for overtime and requires the ability to sit and use a telephone or personal computer for extended periods.
