Applicants must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes checks of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation; therefore, successful candidates must maintain a current driver qualification file, including an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers. CDL holders are subject to a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of starting and a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
