About the Role
As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee, you will take charge in a fast-paced environment, using your degree to run a business and solve problems for customers who depend on you for success. This role is designed to introduce you to our sales processes, leading-edge technology, and winning company culture through ongoing training and mentoring.
You will collaborate with a high-energy, driven team to build a solid foundation in sales, operations, finance, and customer service. The position offers a fast track to a management career with advancement opportunities at hundreds of locations nationwide. You will be based at our Penske facility in Jessup, MD, where you will balance fleet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction while managing a large inventory of vehicles.
Hiring Process
Applicants must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes checks of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation; therefore, successful candidates must maintain a current driver qualification file, including an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers. CDL holders are subject to a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of starting and a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
