As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee, you will take charge in a fast-paced environment, using your degree to run a business and solve problems for customers who depend on you for success. This role is designed to introduce you to Penske's sales processes, leading-edge technology, and winning company culture through ongoing training and mentoring.\n You will collaborate with a high-energy, driven team to build a solid foundation in sales, operations, finance, customer service, and technology. Your day-to-day will involve developing solutions for local and national accounts, managing a large inventory of world-class vehicles, and balancing fleet productivity with customer satisfaction. You will generate new business leads, foster existing relationships, and ensure complete customer satisfaction in a dynamic workspace.
This position offers a fast track to a management career with advancement opportunities at hundreds of locations nationwide. Following a 6–9-month training period, you will be eligible for advancement and a generous base pay increase. The role is hourly, starting at least $25.00 per hour ($52,000 annually), with premium pay for weekend work.
Candidates must be willing to complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation; therefore, successful candidates must maintain a current driver qualification file, including an annual motor vehicle records check, a completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records. CDL holders are subject to a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
