The Sales Analyst will play a pivotal role in Newell Brands' strategy to enable business transformation by fostering a data-driven, insight-based culture throughout the organization. This position serves as a vital bridge, facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will leverage proficiency in data practices, analytics techniques, and business knowledge to drive reporting, diagnostics, and forecasting.
In this hybrid role based in Minneapolis, MN, you will interpret complex datasets to tell compelling stories and develop organized conclusions that are easily digestible by a broad audience. Your day-to-day involves drawing actionable insights from diverse data sources—such as consumption, market share, digital shelf, and search data—to improve sales, profitability, and process efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to address customer needs, optimize innovation launches, and support annual planning and forecasting processes. Additionally, you will help build automated reporting through AI and BI platforms, visualizations, and analytical models, while staying at the forefront of industry trends to drive new analytics initiatives.

Familiarity with financial concepts (promotional lift, profitability, inventory levels, etc.). Experience synthesizing disparate data sources to drive to logical, concise, and actionable conclusions. Experience using POS Sales data alongside other data sources such as invoice, product margin, supply chain, web marketing, product, and shopper behavior metrics to provide a holistic program for retail growth.
