About the Role
The Strength and Conditioning Coach serves as a vital partner in elevating athletic and tactical performance. This role is dedicated to designing and implementing comprehensive training programs that enhance strength, speed, endurance, mobility, and injury prevention for a diverse group of athletes, tactical personnel, or clients.
In this position, you will go beyond simple exercise instruction. You will conduct detailed fitness assessments and performance testing to establish baselines, then craft individualized and group programs tailored to specific goals. Your day-to-day involves teaching proper exercise techniques and movement mechanics while closely monitoring progress to adjust training plans dynamically. You will also collaborate closely with medical staff, sport coaches, and leadership teams to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development.
Beyond the gym floor, you will play an educational role, guiding clients on recovery, nutrition, and performance habits. Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring the safe operation of the facility are also key components of your responsibilities, ensuring a secure environment for all participants.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (preferred for athletic performance roles), Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (preferred for military, police, firefighter, or tactical populations), experience coaching athletes or tactical populations, knowledge of program periodization and sports performance, familiarity with velocity-based training, recovery methods, and injury prevention, strong communication and leadership skills.
