About the Role
As a Safety Supervisor - Training at our East Boulder - McLeod, MT site, you will serve as a critical bridge between operational goals and workforce safety. This role exists to ensure that every team member is equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and efficiently in a complex underground mining environment. You will not only coordinate daily safety assignments but also drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying training gaps and implementing targeted development programs.
In this position, you will interact directly with employees across all work areas, providing real-time coaching and conducting thorough work area inspections. Your day will involve analyzing data from various sources to prepare progress reports for management, while also serving as the primary liaison for third-party audits, including MSHA compliance. By maintaining rigorous training records and collaborating closely with operations and maintenance supervisors, you will ensure that on-the-job training is consistent, effective, and aligned with the latest facility and equipment installations.
