We are seeking a temporary Safety Specialist to support our client's operations in Memphis, TN. This W-2 position serves as a critical bridge between on-site safety needs and Roco Rescue's field safety leadership. You will report directly to the client site safety manager while maintaining oversight from Roco Rescue's Field Safety Manager and Director of Safety.
This contract is scheduled through the end of 2026, with potential for extension based on performance, work ethic, and customer feedback. Future opportunities may arise depending on project needs and your contributions. As a key member of the safety team, you will be the first line of defense in identifying hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe environment within a large data center facility.
The role is based in a large data center where you may encounter hazardous materials, chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery. Success in this position requires physical capability to walk, inspect, climb, and access challenging areas. Shift work is required, including possible nights or rotating schedules to align with facility operations. You will be expected to adhere strictly to all safety and EH&S regulations while managing administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
This position offers a competitive rate of $35/hr with standard overtime rules. Roco Rescue covers lodging and flights (if applicable), and additional support includes per diem, mileage, and travel day payments.
