About the Role

This position is dedicated to coordinating and implementing system-wide patient safety strategies locally. You will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of safety, developing and evaluating patient safety systems, and ensuring sustained adherence to the Pulse program, standard work practices, and regulatory requirements. By partnering with Infection Prevention, Quality, Experience, Advocacy, Accreditation, Clinical Quality Data, and Risk, you will help integrate data analysis and operational insights to enhance organizational safety.

Your day-to-day involves reviewing Pulse Power reports, performing investigations and risk assessments, and identifying patterns to facilitate continuous improvement. You will support continuous safety improvement efforts, participate in system-level assignments, and facilitate thorough root cause analyses (RCA) following ECA and ACA criteria. As a partner on patient safety subjects, you will provide direct support to programs, assist in developing administrative and clinical policies, and disseminate best practices throughout the organization. You will also prepare and present patient safety information to leadership, the Governing Board, and applicable committees, contributing to annual program reviews and organizational goal setting.
