About the Role
The Safety Coordinator serves as a vital partner in building a strong safety culture across our Western Region. This role exists to reduce workplace risk, prevent incidents, and ensure the consistent implementation of safety programs across all locations. You will be the driving force behind compliance with company policies and federal regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA standards.
In this position, you will manage the daily operations of our safety ecosystem. Your day-to-day involves auditing branch locations, managing the Samsara Safety Inbox, and overseeing the administration of our Safety Culture platform. You will lead incident investigations, handle workers' compensation and liability claims within the Mountain region, and maintain critical fleet compliance records. Beyond compliance, you will foster a proactive safety mindset by conducting quarterly training, updating the company Safety Manual, and distributing risk management topics across the organization.
