About the Role

The Food Runner serves as a vital link between the kitchen and the dining room at Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago. This role is dedicated to ensuring a seamless dining experience by assisting chefs and servers in expediting food from the kitchen to guests. You will be responsible for stocking the kitchen, managing food prep instructions, and performing tableside food preparation to guarantee efficient and timely service. Every meal served is an opportunity to demonstrate professionalism, as you will clearly announce and identify all dishes placed on tables.

In this dynamic environment, you will interact with guests in a friendly and sincere manner, explaining menu items and their preparation in detail. The role requires a high level of multitasking and interpersonal communication, as you may be called upon to function as a busser or buffet runner to support the smooth operation of the restaurant. Your presence ensures that special guest requests are accommodated and that the dining room maintains its high standards of service and cleanliness.
