About the Role

As a Shuttle Driver, you will be the vital link between our guests and their adventure. This role is designed for outgoing individuals who love nature and enjoy meeting new people. You will be responsible for river launches and retrievals, delivering boat rentals, shuttling guests to and from Las Vegas Strip hotels, and coordinating logistics for our multi-sport programs.

Beyond transportation, you will play an active role in maintaining the quality of our operations by cleaning and repairing equipment, loading kayaks and canoes, and supporting warehouse needs. This is a physically demanding position that requires working outside in various elements, lifting 50+ lbs, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism while entertaining guests. The role offers a unique opportunity for cross-training; dedicated drivers interested in advancing their careers can train to become Guides with Desert Adventures.

Hiring Process & Training

We offer on-the-job paid training to ensure every team member is prepared for the demands of the role. The introductory period includes progressive pay increases ($12/hr for up to 30 days, $13/hr for up to 60 days, and $14/hr for up to 90 days) with reviews conducted at the 30, 60, and 90-day marks. We are looking for candidates who are available during our peak season (February through November), though year-round availability is not strictly required.
