The Route Coverage Specialist is a key service professional integral to the success of our operations. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will provide exceptional service by stepping in to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives (RSRs) are unavailable. With training on multiple routes, you ensure our valued customers experience seamless service every time.
This position is perfect for someone proactive, agile, and who enjoys variety. Every day brings new routes and new experiences, ensuring no two days are alike. You will work independently while being part of a supportive team that values service excellence. Your day will involve navigating different routes, weather conditions, and schedules, requiring you to adapt quickly to changing conditions and customer needs.
Beyond delivery, you will collaborate with Service, Production, Sales, and Office Departments to support new account installations, assist RSRs, contribute to rerouting efforts, and handle collections. You will also have the opportunity to upsell and strengthen customer relationships by sharing feedback and potential solutions with location leadership.
