This position serves as a Registered Nurse specializing in wound care and ostomy needs. You will utilize your specialized knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and reassess patient care. Your work involves providing nursing care for skin and wound conditions, including draining wounds, pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, and conditions resulting from incontinence, surgery, or trauma. You will collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to develop comprehensive plans of care that address nutritional and psychosocial needs, while leading teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.

Bachelor's degree in nursing. 2 years of wound care experience. Experience directly supervising or managing others. Wound Treatment Associate (WTA) course completion. WOCN, WCC, or CWS Certification or other approved wound care related certification such as a WOCN Society accredited educational program in wound management and/or certification by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Certification Board (WOCNCB) in wound care (i.e., certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse [CWOCN]; certified wound care nurse [CWCN]; certified wound and ostomy nurse [CWON]) within 3 years.
Skills: Registered Nurse, RN License, Basic Life Support, BLS, Wound Treatment Associate, Wta, Wocn, WCC, CWS, Cwocn.
Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
