Join the 4A Cardiac Unit, a specialized team dedicated to providing high-acuity care for patients with complex cardiac conditions. Our unit is STEMI certified and handles critical cases including CHF, chest pain, pre-CABG, pre-TAVR, and Angio with stents. We also manage overflow from med/surg units, ensuring comprehensive care for patients requiring BKS and AKA procedures. Every nurse on our team is ACLS certified, creating a culture of excellence and safety.
As a Graduate Nurse or Experienced RN, you will utilize the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients while coordinating care across departments to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will be responsible for upholding patient rights and maintaining strict confidentiality of all patient information.
Day-to-day clinical skills include telemetry monitoring, pacemaker and ICA care, post-angiography care, TR band management, and administering five primary medication drips. This position is specifically designed for the night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) and includes weekend rotations. You will have the opportunity to work the weekend option for additional compensation.

We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Graduate Nurses and up to $20,000 for Experienced RNs on the night shift. Full-time experienced RNs are eligible for PTO frontloading of up to 80 hours, and full-time employees may receive up to $3,000 in relocation assistance. Graduate RNs may also qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.
