Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters. At Mercy, you'll help shape the future of healthcare through innovation, technology, and compassion. As we grow, you'll grow with us.
The 4A Cardiac Unit is a specialized environment focused on complex cardiac care, including CHF, chest pain, drug loading, pre-CABG, pre-TAVR, angiography with stents, BKS, AKA, and med/surg overflow patients. What makes our team amazing is our high level of certification and readiness: we are STEMI certified, handle cardiac drug loading, and every nurse on the unit holds ACLS certification.
In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients. You will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient needs in conjunction with other departments, all while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Your work will be performed in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits designed to support your life and career, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period. We are committed to helping you launch or advance your career with incentives such as sign-on bonuses, PTO frontloading, relocation assistance, and student loan forgiveness programs.
Mercy is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.
