Our Acute Care Float Pool operates within the dynamic environment of the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving exceptional outcomes by prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide top-of-scope nursing practice in direct patient care across specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. As a member of the float pool, you will adapt to a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment while contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.

You will be expected to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth and welcoming new knowledge. The role utilizes the nursing process and adheres to evidence-based care models, including AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards. This is a full-time role offering 72 hours per pay period with Day & Night Rotation or Night shift options. 13-week assignments are available with extension options.
