Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients across acute care settings
- check_circlePerform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to condition changes
- check_circleAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately per provider orders
- check_circleDocument assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the electronic medical record
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions
- check_circleMaintain strict infection prevention standards and adhere to isolation protocols
- check_circleParticipate in safe handoffs, shift reports, and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure continuity of care
- check_circleAdapt quickly to new units, hospital systems, and workflows while demonstrating professionalism
- check_circleCoordinate with recruiters and credentialing teams to complete onboarding and compliance requirements
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in state of practice (and/or compact license as applicable)
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- verifiedACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred or required depending on unit
- verifiedAdditional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable
- verifiedMinimum recent acute care hospital experience in a relevant specialty
- verifiedImmunizations, TB testing, and other occupational health clearances per facility requirements
- verifiedAbility to meet travel nursing compliance and credentialing standards, including background checks and drug screening
Nice to Have
ACLS certification (preferred or required depending on unit). Additional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable.
