About the Opportunity
Solutions by Sanford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. About the Role
As a traveling RN, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients across a variety of acute care settings. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing changes in patient conditions to ensure timely responses. You will administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately in accordance with provider orders and facility policies.
Collaboration is key to your success; you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. A significant part of your role includes educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions to promote understanding and self-care. You will also maintain strict infection prevention standards, participate in safe handoffs and rounds, and adapt quickly to new units, hospital systems, and workflows.

This includes navigating background checks, drug screenings, and ensuring all immunizations and occupational health clearances meet facility requirements.

Requirements

- verifiedAdditional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable
- verifiedMinimum recent acute care hospital experience in a relevant specialty

- verifiedAbility to meet travel nursing compliance and credentialing standards, including background checks and drug screening
Nice to Have
