As a Registered Nurse at OSUMC, you will be accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with our standards. Your mission is to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care tailored to the specific age groups served on your assigned unit. This role requires a deep understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, enabling you to interpret patient data and identify age-specific needs to create and modify comprehensive plans of care.
You will adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act while ensuring all care aligns with OSUMC Patient Care policies and procedures. Success in this position depends on your ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for every patient you serve.
This full-time position qualifies you for our unique Summer Off scheduling program. In this arrangement, you will work at least 20 pay periods (2-week cycles), during which you will work 7 shifts per pay period. This schedule allows you to accumulate sufficient hours and PTO to cover your benefits throughout the summer months, granting you up to 6 pay periods off during the summer.
At the conclusion of the Summer Off program, OSUMC may choose to extend the arrangement. If the program is not offered or extended, the position reverts to a standard schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.
