Join our dynamic Endoscopy team for a fresh start or a new challenge in your nursing career. This role is designed for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation and compassion drive everything we do. You will function in the spirit of teamwork, providing primary nursing support to physicians and patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions.
You will work across Pre-Procedure, Intra-Procedure, and Post-Procedure areas, ensuring the delivery of care utilizing your specialized skills. Your day will involve triaging patient sick calls, obtaining medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. You will assist providers in procedures, collect and prepare laboratory specimens, and manage IVs and medications. Additionally, you will ensure the proper operation of diagnostic equipment, maintain asepsis in procedure rooms, and educate patients on their medical conditions and treatment compliance.
This is a union role offering a 40-hour weekly schedule with rotating shifts (including weekday and every-other-Sunday options) and an on-call rotation to be discussed during the interview. ACLS certification is required within six months of hire.
