About the Role
Join our dynamic Endoscopy team for a fresh start or new challenge in your nursing career. As an Endoscopy RN, you will provide primary nursing support to physicians and patients, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation and compassion drive everything we do.
You will function in the spirit of teamwork, working across Pre-Procedure, Intra-Procedure, and Post-Procedure departments. Your day involves triaging patient calls, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting providers with procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment. You will also manage IVs, administer medications, collect laboratory specimens, and educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans. Additionally, you will ensure the proper operation and asepsis of diagnostic equipment and procedure rooms.
This is a union role offering a 40-hour weekly schedule with rotating shifts (including weekday and every-other-Sunday hours) and an on-call rotation. Hiring Process
Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on incentive of up to $15,000. The interview process will include a discussion regarding the on-call rotation. Please note that ACLS certification is required within six months of hire.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleInserts, monitors, regulates, and discontinues IVs as directed by providers
- check_circleAdministers medications including IV push and topical applications as required
- check_circleCleans and sets up procedure rooms between cases ensuring asepsis and equipment availability
- check_circleCleans, sterilizes, and prepares instruments according to established protocols
- check_circleEducates patients on medical conditions, medications, and treatment compliance
Requirements
