As an RN Quality Coordinator, you will have a quality impact on our patients' lives and the opportunity to truly make a difference. Your clinical background will be put to important use as you join us in our efforts to better our community. In this role, you will act as an expert and resource to professional staff, providing education to physicians, nursing, allied health personnel, and EMS as needed. You will assume day-to-day responsibility for process and performance improvement activities of the sepsis and stroke programs, as well as any subsequent clinical quality programs.
You will gather data, review charts, and formulate reports for the Medical Staff and other quality functions. This includes keeping up with changes and improvements to help the outcomes of the Core Measures and reviewing all mortalities to document findings for the Division. You will work with medical staff to assure appropriate diagnostic tests and medications are being utilized, ensuring patient educational materials are reviewed for health literacy and cultural competence.
