As a Registered Nurse in the RCH Ortho/Neuro/Sur-Nursing department, you will be valued as an essential team member providing compassionate, patient-focused care. You will facilitate relationship-centered care through competent clinical practice, applying the healing and science of professional nursing to prevent or resolve illness, disability, or injury.
You will exercise independent judgment to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care in accordance with ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies, and applicable laws. Working alongside interdisciplinary teams, healthcare providers, families, and support systems, you will advocate for individuals and contribute to the alleviation of suffering.
