In this position, you will be an active contributor in the prevention or resolution of illness, disability, or injury, as well as the alleviation of suffering. Working in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, family members, and support systems, you will exercise independent judgment to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care. Your work will align with ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies, and applicable laws.
You will utilize the ANA Nursing Process to collect comprehensive data, analyze assessment findings, and develop individualized care plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will coordinate care delivery, promote health and safety, and engage in consultation to influence care plans and enhance the abilities of others. You will also integrate research findings into practice, consider factors related to safety and cost, and provide leadership within the professional practice setting.
This role is based at the Spearfish Hospital in Spearfish, SD. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling options are available for qualifying positions.
