We are seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at the Morris Cancer Center. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. You will serve as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other providers to maintain the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and professional ethics.
As an OR Nurse, your day will involve scrubbing in and circulating in a variety of specialty areas, including Robotics, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Transplant, Neurology, Thoracic, Trauma, Cardiac, Vascular, ENT/Head and Neck, GYN, Urology, and Bariatrics. You will participate in complex surgeries utilizing the latest technology in our state-of-the-art surgical suites. Beyond technical skills, you will act as a vital advocate for patients undergoing anesthesia and sedation, engaging in shared clinical decision-making and operating effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This position is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering a differentiated patient care experience, continually striving to learn and operate at a high clinical standard. You will be eager to utilize new technology and clinical advancements to elevate care while showing kindness and respect to all people in an honest, ethical manner.
