TravelNurseSource is partnering with Cynet Health to recruit a qualified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a facility in Raleigh, North Carolina (27607). This 8-week contract offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a hospital setting, delivering competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
In this position, you will report to the Nurse Manager or Director and be accountable for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role involves assessing patient readiness to learn, identifying developmental levels, and utilizing patient education materials to support the patient, family, and caregivers. You will participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to evaluate care, communicate relevant information to ensure continuity, and collaborate with multidisciplinary resources to plan care for patients with complex problems or high discharge risks.
You will be expected to demonstrate competence in caring for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. The role requires synthesizing assessment data to determine priorities, recognizing data from complex situations, and promoting a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment. Additionally, you will engage in performance improvement activities, promote cost-effective care, and stay current with public policy and regulatory guidelines affecting the healthcare environment.

To be considered for this assignment, candidates must possess a Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing, one year of nursing experience, and a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
