The Nursing Professional Development Specialist (Educator) serves as a vital catalyst for clinical excellence within the Quality Improvement and Education department at our Fort Myers Home Health offices. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical practice and professional growth, ensuring that direct care providers not only meet but exceed the highest standards of patient care.
In this position, you will move beyond traditional instruction to actively design, organize, and evaluate comprehensive learning programs. By leveraging nursing theory, clinical expertise, and the principles of pedagogy and andragogy, you will facilitate the professional development of staff through system, campus, and unit-based orientation, training, and competency validation. Your work will directly enhance safety, patient satisfaction, and staff clinical competence.
You will be an active collaborator within multi-disciplinary teams, working across unit, campus, and system levels to drive performance improvement initiatives.
