About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med-Surg unit serves as a vital member of a fast-paced healthcare team, dedicated to providing direct, compassionate patient care. This role is designed to support patients recovering from a wide array of medical and surgical interventions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their hospital stay.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care across diverse diagnoses. Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs, then developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will be the primary point of contact for patients and families, offering clear education on conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans while monitoring vital signs and clinical progress to make necessary adjustments to care strategies.
Beyond clinical duties, the Med-Surg RN plays a key role in maintaining a safe environment by adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols. You will also have the opportunity to mentor new staff or nursing students, serving as a resource for clinical decision-making and fostering a supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
