About the Role
This position is located within the Medical Surgical North department at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs. As an onsite Registered Nurse, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within Acute Care (Med-Surg) units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. You will utilize the nursing process to contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
You will join a dynamic team where clinical educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation. The role involves welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment and modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. The position operates on a PRN basis with day shifts.
