About the Role

This position is a Registered Nurse role within the Medical Surgical North department at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs. As an onsite role, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process on Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity.

You will prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice while contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. The role involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation, ensuring you are equipped with the AMSN core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.
