About the Role
This position is located at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, within the Medical Surgical North department. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
As an Acute Care (MedSurg) nurse, you will provide direct care on units handling moderate to high patient acuity. You will value a multidisciplinary team approach and contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care. The position offers opportunities to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and to welcome new knowledge as you grow. Clinical Educators are available to support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
