About the Role
Based at the UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center in Denver, CO, this Registered Nurse position operates within the Breast Health Outpatient Department. The role provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
In this onsite capacity, you will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize resources. The role involves monitoring and communicating patient conditions, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care (including transfers, discharges, and referrals), and addressing spiritual or psychosocial support needs. You will also evaluate learning needs to provide appropriate patient and family education, delegate care to ancillary personnel, and may precept student nurses and new hires.
