This Nurse Manager position creates an environment where front-line nurses and ancillary staff provide whole-person care that is safe, complication-free, and optimizes functional independence for each patient. You will maintain a highly visible presence on the unit, collaborating closely with staff, charge nurses, physicians, and other department leaders to ensure clinical operations are efficient and effective while achieving high patient, family, and staff satisfaction.
In this role, you will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing and ancillary personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion. You will schedule, lead, and coordinate the daily activities of a defined unit on an assigned shift, assisting leadership in accomplishing both unit and organizational goals. Your focus will be on building a high-performing clinical work team, setting goals for patient safety and quality of care, and fostering a culture of open communication.
