The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital is a high-volume unit treating over 60,000 patients annually across 49 beds. The team manages a diverse caseload including major and minor illnesses related to cardiac events, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. The department fosters a culture of collaboration, utilizing unit-based practice councils and advanced clinical education to support staff working at the top of their license.
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care while functioning as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. This PRN Night Shift role requires you to be an outgoing and positive team member who utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and effectively implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.
