We've made a lot of progress since opening our doors in 1942, but one thing has never changed: our commitment to serve, heal, lead, educate, and innovate. We believe that every award earned, every record broken, and every patient helped is the result of the dedicated employees who fill our hallways.
At Ochsner, whether you work with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference. We invite you to come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today.
This position serves as a leader in the provision of patient care, operating within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Code for Nurses, and the Scope & Standards of Practice. You will effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes.
In this role, you will exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions. You will maintain involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and departmental strategic goals, demonstrating professional responsibility and supporting the company's philosophy of nursing. Your work will involve assessing learning needs, implementing teaching strategies for diverse patient populations, and utilizing data to promote change and achieve optimal outcomes.
