This position serves as a critical bridge between medical expertise and public health communication. You will provide advanced clinical inquiry responses to consumers, educators, and medical professionals, leveraging deep subject matter expertise to address complex health-related questions. The role requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge, specifically regarding CDC-related topics, and the ability to translate that information into clear, accurate verbal and written communications.
As a key member of the team, you will perform advanced database searches, compose detailed reports and correspondence, and document all incoming inquiries. This role is designed for a self-starter who can work independently while managing simultaneous tasks with strong organizational skills. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects as required, contributing to the broader mission of public health support.
This is a remote position requiring a dedicated home office setup. Candidates must have a private and secure work area with a hard-wired internet connection (Category 5 or 6 ethernet cable) providing at least 25 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed. You are required to use your own personal computer or laptop (Windows 10/11 or Mac OS Big Sur/Catalina/Monterey); tablets, iPads, and Chromebooks are not permitted. A smartphone is also required solely for logging into Maximus systems.
