About the Role
We are seeking dedicated nurses to support students in Dallas, H.E.B, and surrounding regions within the School Health, Pediatrics, and Special Education sectors. This role is designed to complement your lifestyle, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with no holidays, weekends, or nights. You will work approximately 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, a timeframe that includes busing with students.\n In this position, you will partner directly with students managing complex chronic health conditions, including G-tubes, trachs, vents, catheters, diabetes, and seizures. Your day will involve managing care plans, coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents, and performing essential daily living activities (ADLs) for students in wheelchairs. You will also be responsible for developing emergency response plans, maintaining confidential health records, and providing first aid or emergency care when needed.
Hiring Process & Training
Ro Health provides comprehensive training to ensure you are fully prepared for the unique needs of our students. Training topics include seizure disorder education, Diastat administration, insulin injections and pumps, diabetic management, medication administration, G-tube feedings, and tracheostomy care. Candidates will also receive paid orientation prior to their start date.
Interested candidates should apply with an active Texas Nursing License (Active Compact License acceptable), current CPR/BLS certification, and a recent negative TB result. For those interested in the per diem track, you will have the flexibility to decide which days to be available each week.
