About the Role
This position is located at the UCHealth Pueblo West Hospital in the Emergency Room department. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
As a member of this team, you will value a multidisciplinary approach to care and contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care. The position involves providing direct care at the Emergency Department level, including up to and including Level 1 trauma designation. Clinical Educators are available to support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited nursing program if less than 3 years experience

- verifiedACLS preferred at hire or within 6 months

- verifiedBLS through AHA or Red Cross with card before start date
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Nursing. ACLS certification at time of hire or within 6 months of hire. NIHSS certification within 6 months. ENPC or PALS certification within 6 months of hire. TNCC or ATCN certification within 1 year of hire.
