Picture yourself on a dynamic team at the PPW Emergency Room in Pueblo West, Colorado. This onsite position operates on a nights shift schedule and is dedicated to providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to deliver emergency department level of care, including up to and including level 1 trauma designation.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Your role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. You will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge. Additionally, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
Clinical Educators will support and guide you with individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. BCEN's certification standards are integrated into our evidence-based care models to ensure the highest quality of service.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. ACLS certification at time of hire or within 6 months of hire. NIHSS certification within 6 months. ENPC or PALS certification within 6 months of hire. TNCC or ATCN certification within 1 year of hire.
